Due to the current price levels of TPT and LUNA, Terra Poker is operating at a significant loss in high expenses for gas fees. As such, the team is proposing the temporary suspension of the smaller BB tables such as 1BB/2BB and 2BB/4BB tables. Remaining active tables will be: Two 5BB/10BB tables and a 10/20BB table.
At current prices, 1 TPT is 0.014LUNA, equating to about 0.03 USDC.
On October 25, the rake fee is expected to be adjusted to 4%, which in combination will offset much of the cost of playing to the average user. The team will move this motion to a poll this week, as part of its sustainable operation strategy.

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post in the other topic, I do support any move to ensure the solvency of the protocol. Given the current price of TPT, it is highly unprofitable to run a low TPT SB/BB table. This topic should focus on ensuring that the smallest TPT SB/BB table is pegged to a rate, for an example, the lowest table should be $1/$2 , therefore, if the TPT price falls to $0.05, the smallest table should be 20/40.
This ensures that the team is able to be flexible to suspend and re-active the tables should the TPT price fluctuates upwards or downwards.

We fully agree with you. Right now we are doing this manually, temporarily suspending them after polling. However, we are going to do this in a more “dynamic” function. We will consult the community, execute via governance, but you’re completely right – we need to automate this.
